Well I have returned after a 4 day vacation. I needed a break from here. It was mainly to do some yard chores for the winter season. More on that to follow I am sure. HAHAHA!! I was once again getting burnt out from here posting and responding and adding comments. This place has really slowed down too since I last did anything Thursday night. I did not have a lot of emails as opposed to say one month ago. I can rememebr as early as one month ago I'd get a couple hundred emails daily. Now after a 4 day break I was lucky to have gotten 200 totally. Oh well. Anyhow I have returned for now. Hopefully it will last longer this time before the burn out feeling returns. HAHAHAHA! Is this place really slow this week or what?

Hit 60 degrees here yesterday. Had to cut the grass, pull weeds, clean up tons of dog do-do....you know the drill...lol. Looking forward to spring...had to get a head start..lol. [sigma77]

I think the place is really slow on some day! I know I will clcik on a category to respond to some discussions and the next day all the same discussions are there no one has started new ones in them. I think alot of people have left mylot too becasue they amount of pay has said to slow down. I just post a little each day and I like to keep up with my friends on here and see what others have to say. [luvstochat]

Hi Grandpa Bob, I just logged in (again) today, and here you are! I'm very happy to see you back here. I can understand you feeling burnt out, after all you've been through in the past year. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.:) It really does seem like things are slower, as a lot of the 'regulars' seem to be coming and going, then some coming again. I signed up last January, so had no idea back then, who was on a lot, and who wasn't. Anything can become a chore at times in life, and then it's good to take a break. Again, welcome back! I can understand the feeling of burn out, from My Lot & other programs. I will be having a 4 day break as from tomorrow. Bianca & I are going up north to attend two swimming carnivals. It will be very hot, but we are looking forward to it. It is tiring posting & posting. At the moment I am trying to do lots of responses, as I want to get to the minimum earnings by the end of this month, which I may find difficult being away. Welcome back from you mini-vacation, Grandpa Bob. Glad to hear your well rested and rarin' to go again here. What kind of yard chores can you possibly be doing in snow, I wonder? It's been pretty nice out last few days so with all the snow melted :-( I've been doing a few chores outside. Still gotta get all the landmines picked up but least they are all in one area as I train all my dogs to go in one area. That way I'm not clomping all over the yard looking for them and end up missing 1/2 of them. lol [blackbriar]
my husband and I were driving around the past couple of days and I have noticed how many people still have their Christmas decorations up, to include my neighbor, while she may not light them, they are still up, I guess I'm from the old school that they need to come down on New Year's day, my tree came down the day after new year's day.... I guess I'm one of the old school, Thanksgiving to New Year's is the Christmas season, seems people don't agree with me, and I guess I can't blame them, esp. since Christmas starts getting forced on us At the end of August, beginning of Sept.... I was away here as well, grandpa. T'was during the seasons, since I always thought of having some time off here and decided that december was the right month to do so!;) I just got busy with my personal life that time, streched some muscles and prepared for the season. I think mylot has been recovering from the last month's celebration, I've received fair responses from the discussions I've started and I'm thankful that the activity here has gone back to normal!;) [raijin]

Hey GndpaB, I'm glad you had a little vacation, and even if it was chores, yard chores, I know you enjoy your time outside and the yard chores, I know I do too, but my feet don't often allow for yard chores outside without becoming severely painful. I know how it is to suffer from mylot burnout, I think I was there yesterday too, no matter how hard I tried I could not get into posting, So I did about 40 or so posts and just called it a day. I always notice when you take a break from here because I miss the e-mail notifications of your started discussions. Yes, I noticed that mine had slowed down for a bit, but has picked up a little more the last few days. I log on to MyLot daily but I don't ever get burned out, maybe because I do other things on line that breaks it up. I finally made payout today which I am happy about! [terri0824]

I am sorry you are getting board with us all. I do get board sitting at the computer at times. I am working now from home and have to spend 45 hours amonth on the computer for work. I then have all my emails. It sure takes out of my email time. Sometime I just want to veg out and watch TV. Now that I am working I find that I have not been keeping up my home as much as I did before. I also have not been feeling as good as I felt before. I do not know if it is the added stress of working or what it is. Time will tell if I can continue to work. [teapotmommommerced]
