I love to travel but until now, i haven't got the chance to travel to another country aside from my own because of lack of huge money to spend for it that's why i considered someone very fortunate if he/she got this chance of visiting another country. Who among my dear MyLotters have done this and what country/countries have you visited, do you enjoy your stay? hope one time i could travel too, that's one of my dreams that i intend to realize. LOL!

Where are you from my friend?...I'm from Transylvania,Romania and in Europe it's a bit easier I guess to travel to other countries because it's much smaller than the US. I've been to Hungary, Austria, Italy, France and Norway. I enjoyed all of them :D But I think I enjoyed Norway the most,it's the nicest country I think and since I love mountains,I had the privilege to see many of those in Norway( not that in Austria,France and Italy there aren't any,cause there are the Alps).Good luck in accomplishing your dream my friend :) hope you visit as many countries as you can. No I don't that fortune to travel to another country. I like travel especially to place with great beach, luckily here there are many beautiful beach with beautiful landscape. Where are you come from? maybe you can consider to visit Indonesia you can go to many place and here every thing is cheap you can go to Bali or Gili Trawangan. Hi jinjer, I have visit Indonesia before. I went there for a family visit. I still have a lot of closed relative there particularly in South Sulawesi. I went there just after I finish my study (12 years ago). It is in Enrekang province. I spend two weeks there. While I am there, I attend my relative wedding and some ceremony which is I am not accustomed to. It is very interest thing journey to reach there actually. We started from Tawau town (Sabah - Malaysia), travel by speed boat to reach Nunukan (East Kalimantan - Indonesia) and spent a day there. The next morning we board a ship (a very big ship) to Pare-Pare (South Sulawesi). It is so crowded and not a very nice experience for me but have to use it because it is the cheapest way. Its took three days at the ocean before we reach our destination. From Pare-Pare, we took a taxi to reach the place we want to be. It took two or three hours also (I can not remember exactly). So, I spend almost four days just to be there and another four days to go back home. Even though it is a very tiring journey, I enjoy my time there. The only time I did not like from the whole traveling time is when I was at the ship. [akuler]

I am very unfortunate cause I am already 26 years old and I have stayed here in our country for the whole time. But I believe that there will come a time when I would be able to go somewhere. i have visited indonesia and australia with my sister's help. happy traveling is actually easier now because you can access the embassy's website and download the requirements and forms you need. i think renewing your passport can also be done by pick-up now. there are budget airlines and promos during off-peak season. you can learn a lot from travel blogs and travel sites to get insider tips and tricks on where to go, what to do, prices of googd, local customs and practices, even what and what not to bring. wink there are places here in asia i want to visit like hongkong, singapore, and vietnam. this time, i want to fund my own trip and join a tour. other people get to travel as part of their work. but i have on online friend who got a scholarship that takes him to several places in europe. A person who can travel abroad would be so fortunate, that's what I thought before. But when I had a chance to travel in Kota Kinabalo, I was thinking that I am not just fortunate to land to another paradise island but also I am so blessed because God given me the chance to travel. Anyways I would like to go the places where you could see mountains, beaches and nature. My first travel was when I am 15 years old I went to switzerland to visit my aunt and stayed their for 2 months only. Its a very cold place and the mountains are so great. [ada8may21]
Sure, I hope you will enjoy the place just like I do. If you want to can always keep on checking the cheapest price in going their. Sometimes they offer a cheap prices. When I went there, I only spent for 4,000 pesos for the airfare and the hotel accommodation is around 8000 for 3 days and 2 nights. That was in the year of 2008. [ada8may21]

I have been fortunate enough to have visited fifty different countries so far in my lifetime. During my childhood my family went to France. In my teenage years I got the chance to go to Greece, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Tunisia and St Lucia. During my twenties I went to Australia, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, USA, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Malta, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ireland, Poland, Kenya, Luxembourg, Israel, Jordan, Hong Kong, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa. In my thirties so far I have been to Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Turkey, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and South Africa. Yes, I feel fortunate because I was give a wonderful opportunity to travel abroad for free. I was 10 years old when visited Hongkong and I was with my grandparents, brother and aunt. it was an all expense paid trip courtesy of my ever generous and loving aunt. the airplane ride was a bit scary because it was my first time to travel by air. after a year, i traveled again and this time with my grandfather and brother. we visited hongkong, macau and shenzhen china. i have been to Hongkong for four times and i am planning to go there before the year ends. I haven't been able to travel outside of my country too. I don't have the funds, so it is quite sad. I have a friend who is able to travel in Asia on a budget because she is able to track down discounted airfares. My dream trip would be to go to Egypt because I have always been fascinated by the pyramids. And before going out of my country, I want to explore it too because it is quite sad that foreigners are able to go the my country's beautiful beaches and tourists spots because the prices are unreasonable.
