winter is already started and most of the people would like to visit the warm places and they go on to their vacation these days. even i am going to my native for about two months may be i will be leaving next month and how many of you are going on vacations and for how many days?
are you going just to avoid winter or to meet your relatives?

I don't normally go on vacation, especially during the winter months because I love the cold weather...and I also love your username icegermany But my parents go to their Florida home about 3 times during the winter and I get to stay here and watch all the animals. I love it because then it's nice and quiet. They're going right after Thanksgiving and I can't wait [Druscilla34]
it seems that you like cold whether and in whole cold things too, it is good as far as you dont fall ill due to cold. i know cold weather is good to see for me specially the snow fall and it is really so pretty and beautifull but it is very cold to experience but i like to watch it from home and taking snaps in snow and all. anyways it was nice to see you at my discussion and thanks for the reply. no,even i hate the winter. start a vocation in the winter is a great joy. you know the snow is covering all the earth ,and the snow man is so funny ,you can make one by yourself.or you can skite on the snow ,cheer up . [wujinbo]
i know this all activities of snow is really a great enjoyment and fun and there are more people who go on the vacations where there is snow and it is really a fun but i could found there are more people who would wish to hang on to the warm places and avoid winters for a few days or months. it depends purely on one thought and hence we do how we like it. I want to and I am going to but not this year as I have used all my annual leave this year. w00t Since there is no winter in my part of the world, my vacation is more about visiting my wife's family and relatives as they are from a different country. So, I would not be looking for the warmth of the sun but the warmth of love from families, relatives and friends and that is something that I am looking forward to every year. This year we had gone back to Jakarta, that's where my wife is from, and therefore, we are already planning for another trip next year. This year, I only went back with my wife and son but next year I am planning to take my mother along as she has never been to Jakarta before. Well, a lot of things to plan and some money to budget as well as air tickets are not cheap when you want it on a specific dates for your travel but they are cheap on dates that you can't travel. duh Anyway, have a good weekend! i know meeting parents, friends and relatives really gives us a good feeling and happiness and that is what i am looking for in my vacation as we are going after a year and i am just hoping everything goes on well. last time when i had visited my place i had fallen sick and also my son and my son has hospitalised too and i was really upset but i dont want this to happen this time, i wanted my vacation to be pleasant and happy. but i am scared too as there might be some family problems too which might effect my family relationship and i really dont want to face any bad things happening. anyways wish you good luck for your vacation. i know vacation is really necessary for everyone as it is a break from our daily routine work and it also works as boosting our energy and feel nice about it. it is a good time to enjoy and feel happy along with the family. even i like going on vacation as we can explore more of unseen places and it is very nice to visit other different places to know about their culture and the things over there. i was upposed to being going on a short vacation to blackpool in the uk tomorrow but it has been cancelled. i an quite upset about that. mext i would like to travel to tunisia as i hear it is very nice there. i like to holiday in places that are very warm as i get cold easily. i hope to go for seven days. it must be nice to have a vacation for two months. will you be using mylot whilst you are away lol. happy mylotting [lou_66]
i know how upset you are to cancel your trip once i had also experienced this, we had already left in the morning for brussel but on the way we found the snow fall and we had already driven a few kilometers but thinking of snow we will not be able to roam properly and we had to take our kid also outside for the whole day and due to this weather it might be difficult and hence we just returned back and we went to brussel after one and half month or so and even had felt very bad but thats life. even you can enjoy going there any other time when it is possible for you just dont be upset and try to concentrate anywhere else which makes you happy. yes i am happy to go my native but at the same time i am tensed about our health there as last time when we had gone it was a huge problem as our health and we all were sick and my son was hospitalised too, so i am a bit tensed also. We have about fifteen days holidays during Christmas. We are going to a desert state Rajasthan for the vacation during that time. My father is working there. He would take leave and show the places around. I hope its an enjoyable vacation. [Daffodil20]

it's not quite winter right now, but i'm going to Cuba in about 10 days for a week to lounge out on the beach, have fun and enjoy some time with my boyfriend. it was a birthday present from my boyfriend and i'm so excited to go! it's definitely been too long since i've been away...about 10 years! so this is going to be amazing! You bet I am! Going to Vietnam after Christmas for a month! Everyone considers Lunar New Year as just Chinese but it's celebrated in a big way in Vietnam too and it's wonderful to be there during New Year. Nice to get away from the dreary UK weather too and just to make it extra special, I've booked business class too :-) OK...it's costing a bit but you only live once, so enjoy life as you can!
