I have to travel a LOT for my job. I actually haven't been back to my home country for a year now..... People always say that I am so lucky to be travelling the world but to be honest, when it is always for business purposes and never for pleasure it becomes tiring and unexciting! Bascially, some people I know of have never travel out of their country even once and that is really a pathetic thing. It is just equivalent to living in a prison because you will never look at the other wonders in the world and you can't appreciate the other happenings in other parts of the world. I have only travel to Taiwan and Malaysia and there are several other countries like Thailand and Bangkok which I hope to visit one day. yes, I think traveling must be in my blood. but sadly, my blood does not put fuel in the car. My parents always took us kids on trips, never did we have a vacation from school where we did not spend it traveling, or camping away from home. it was great. I saw a lot of the country and it was wonderful family time. but, gas was really cheap back then and driving cross country was a very economical activity. I have been to every one of the 50 states with the exception of Alaska, Hawaii, and Maine (unless you count in utero) I have been to Panama Canal Zone and all of the central american countries, Mexico, Bermuda, Northern Africa, and Spain. But since being married (almost 20 years) we have done very little traveling. Just have not found the finances to do so, or if we have the funds we do not have the time. my father always had 30 days paid vacation a year, plus regular federal holidays. [Modestah]

i love traveling too.i used to travel alot with my dad when he would go on his jobs around the country.we seen everything in those days!if you live in the united states,we used to go to North Carolina,South Carolina,Florida,Georgia,Alabama,Virginia,West Virginia,Ohio are some of the states that we've been to in the years before.he use to work on theateres in the booths if something went wrong with them and repair them.andand he would take me all the time during the summer when i was out of school.and when i was we got to go to the beach alot as well.but when he would work on the projectors in the booth of the theaters,i would get to watch some of the movies for free that was already running.sometimes he would have to come in at night and work on them while there were people still watching the shows.so i got pretty much a great time with dad when i was young.We used to go to Kentucky,and God did i hate that place back than!but not after i learned about the truth of the "coal miner's daughter" though.great movie.though i seen the movie at the theater for free,and ate popcorn and candy and drank coke and got it all for free.i loved them old days when i was young and wish that i could do it all over again,sitting back in my dad's conversion van listening to his tapes of Jimmy Buffet.god what great memories! thanks for asking.
