Both have really good looks and lovely partners. But if i were to choose between them based on their acting abilities, I would have to choose Tom Cruise. I believe he has stayed in the industry longer than Brad Pitt and has portrayed a lot of challenging roles including those in The Last Samurai, Mission Impossible, and The Day After Tomorrow. He acts superbly good and way better than Brad Pitt. So, who's your bet?

i have seen many movies of tom cruise but not of rad pitt. and that is why i can't really compare the two about their acting and i will say that they are both good looking. but i really don't know who is better looking than the two cause the two has different looks. but both are hunks and really worthy of our admiration. and i really like them and i consider them as both of my favorite actors. i really love seeing them on the television on my hbo channel. but i don't get to see them lately on theaters. cause i am really busy. but i will admit before i really like tom cruise. but now i am more for brad pitt. i just don't know why. but i just guess that brad pitt looks a little better than tom cruise now than before. but both are really successful. though i feel that tom cruise is more rich that brad pitt. cause brad pitt has more movies than tom cruise. i really hope that brad pitt will vvae more upcoming movies and hopefully i will have some time to watch brad pitt movies. i really like watching movies before but because of the tight schedule that i hvae now i can''t possible watch them asmuch as i want to. Brad Pitt is quite more good looking because he is younger than Tom Cruise although of course we all know that looks doesn't depend solely on age. I am definitely of the same opinion with you. I would grade Tom Cruise better. He has made a pictures of a variety of stories and have acted perfectly in the roles he was playing. [greenline]

I have seen most movies with Tom Cruise. I don't think he is that great as an actor. He mostly play himself like most actors. And as he has not changed much physically along the years... I am a bit tired of him. The novelty was cute in the first 10 years... but now he lacks the maturity that you would expect from a 40 year old. Brad Pitt is not yet as big in status. Most of the publicity he has received was more for its good looks than for its work. But I did like him in the "Ocean's" movies and in "Troy". The difference is that with Tom Cruise... you only see Tom Cruise. But with Brad Pitt... you see the character he plays rather than Brad Pitt. Same with Jennifer Aniston. In every movie... you only see Jennifer Aniston... not the character. Nicole Kidman on the other hand can act... and you see the character. [Aussies2007]

I would go for Brad Pritt.He is one of my favorite actor.I just love to see him in a movie or maybe even dream to see him in person.I really like almost of his movies specially the Archilles which shows his nice physique.I am looking forward to see more of his movies. [giePortlandOR_08]
Brad Pitt, all the way. He has stretched his acting limits by playing such diverse roles while Cruise has pretty much played the same character in every role. Plus, Cruise is a nut job. [buldwgz]

I am not crazy about either of them but Tom Cruise is in one of my favorite movies Top Gun, on the other hand Brad Pitt was in the Oceans movies which i also enjoy. They are both good actors but i wouldn't go see a movie just because they were in it. [cjgrooms]
