This is going to be the forth year that I have not taken a vacation. I so need some time off. So i want to live my vacation through the ones they you my mylot friends took. so please sure your wonderful vacation stories with me. I got my big hat on and my cocktail with the little umbrella in it waiting for you!

Sorry no vacation here either. I work as a lifeguard in the summer so I just watch everyone else have their vacations. Maybe I can have one this winter during the slow season. I hope you get away soon everyone deserves some relaxation in their lives. [lightningMD]

I cant go for vacation this summer, I will like to go to Florida. But now i star a new job, i cant have may vacation rigth now. [jofielc]

I just got back from our yearly camping trip, We had a ball, the whole family, kids, the works, and they're already talking about what there gonna do next year. [blkcat1]

I could not vacation this year either. But my two best friends went on vacation, so that was a vacation from them for me. I enjoyed it at first, but then I started to miss them. I have issues, LOL. [Rozie37]

Girl...you NEED a vacation!! Personally, I haven't had a bona fide vacation since 1977. There were a lot of years where I was taking care of my parents and family. Looking back, I wish I would have taken more time for myself to recharge my OWN batteries. My last vacation was a 2 week motorcycle trip from Ohio to Boston. It rained the whole time, and everything I saw was during their nor'easter. The only thing I regretted was not being able to take more pictures. Still, it was a fine trip and lots of happy memories. I rather w had vacation in this summer. we went to London at the begining of summer and had good tour. I wanted to post my pics here but i found it is taking too much time to download the pics so i forgot it [cmsk2005]

I went to Cuba and just got back recently. We went to beaches and through mountains. Even in caves 35 meters below sea level. I am going to be starting a discussion or two after I get all caught up on my emails. Hope to see you there. :) [misheleen73]

I visited my family up in Canada AGAIN!! Took the kids with me and went for 10 days. I think next year we are actually going to try and go on a nice family vacation with no-one else around. [inked4life]

We went to the shore for a week. It was nice to get away, but we do it every year. That's what people do when they live around here- go 2 hours away to the shore. We did have happy hour every day though, LOL [awonderfullife]

Just a small one this year. We had to move my son and his family last year and that about took all we could handle for awhile. Took most of the savings and some that wasnt saved. We're slowly getting back to even. [easyliving]

I agree with you, you really do need some time away. We all need time away to get re-calibrated to life and our responsibilities. With a family, it be a little harder to achieve, but Oh so worth it!! My daughter and I went to Las Vegas this year. She was on a work related trip, and I was out for some fun and relaxation. We started out by going up on Sunday and staying at the El Cortez in downtown part of Las Vegas. We went to Fremont Street for the experience. It was awesome!!! The next day we went to the Strip, and stayed there for 3 days. In the evenings we went to the differnet casinos and walked the strip to see the different attractions, like the volcano at the Mirage, the water fountain show at the Belliagio, which is very amazing. During the day I went to the Orleans, Gold Coast, and the Rio. On our last day, we went to Terrible's for a steak dinner, then walked down to the Hard Rock Cafe for some sightseeing. We had an AWESOME time. This is not a place to take kids, so I would strongly recommend it. [crazy_ol_lady]
yes honey i need some time away, and i think i am going to go to Canada to visit a friend that i met on Yuwie. there are some great people there and I can't wait to meet this lady. I see that you signed up for Yuwie, I would love to see you back that having fun like me!! [34momma]
