I have taken few days leave from work as it is festival time for us. I just got some today to login to mylot. The question just striked me that do you login to mylot when you are in vacation?

hi subha we dont travel when we have vacations cause we want to save up for an early retirement for me cause I am the main breadwinner of our little household. Sooooo weekends and vacations alike are lovely couch potato times cause they mean sleeping in and thats bliss cause normally I have to get up at 4 am to go to work having a real stream of nicely filtered coffee compared to that measly instant stuff I drink at work cause its cheaper. If I am actually going away somewhere on holiday then I don't use the internet at all. I just got back from a trip to France and I didn't use the internet once, but if I have a holiday from work but stay home then I will probably use the internet more! Hi Subha, If my vacation is just staying at home,then I will have time to do MyLot. Most of the time, I will on holiday during year end December, I will back to my hometown with my husband and my son. We always back there for at least 3 weeks and sometimes I even stayed there for more than a month. Durin my holiday back at my hometown, I seldom touch computer. That is the time for me to spend with my relatives ,family members and my friends. I will only back to the Online World after back to my husband's hometown and I will have a lot of workloaded to be completed. [shia88]
I haven't been to a vacation since i joined mylot... so i don't know if i will be able to stay away from this site even when i am enjoying myself somewhere... but i will be travelling with my daughter next year... and i am looking for a hotel with wifi or any internet connection... so that means i might still visit mylot even when i am on vacation... i am usually busy the whole day when its kids school days,so vacations are some of the times when i get to myself and then during those times ,i do try to log into mylot. [riyasam]

Hello Subhal, For me, I still not have any vacation since I joined Mylot! If this happen to me, I don't think I will bring my laptop along to the vacation. So I will not mylotting when I am on a vacation. More ever it is hard to get to internet job while you are away for vacation. I think it is better to spend the time to the maximum when you are on vacation. I mean spend your time relax at the vacation, play around, eat around, walk around and many more! But if you are takking a few days leave but stay at home just to destress and relax, you can also lo gin to Mylot if you are boring and has nothing to do! Maybe you will get some fun from mylotting! hi subha seems we both have been here about the same length of time anway I have no vacations as I am retired and life is one long boring vacation so I mylot a lot so Ican be cheerful again and be happy for awhile. not having any job anymore is sort of sad to me, altho at my age everyone just frowns at me, I am 82 and so everyone thinks why would she want to work? well I have a sharp mind and am still young at heart, and we all like to have something to do.happy vacation subha [Hatley]
Since I am the only one in my house, I don't take vacations. It is just to expensive to do so anyway, and I do need the money, so I would rather stay home and be on mylot than go on vataton. I think though, if I had the chance to come in here on vacation, I certainly would. I guess you could say that mylot is like bein on vacation though, as I am having fun, just like I would on vatation. w00t Sine I have been in here in mylot, I haven't wanted to go on vactaion even if I did have the money. With things being he way they are, it will probably be awhile before I will ever be able to take a vacation with my ex. For now, though, I will just enjoy being in here. It depends if I have internett access or not which I will try to come on mylot once in awhile but most of the time when I go vacation I wont be on mylot. Since im to busy having fun and going out and exploring and seeing the sights to be in my room and be on the internet. [arcidy]

yes, i do my lot during festival season, i try to manage my time and take out at least 2-3 hours for my lot. but sometimes i don't even make a single post in a day and sometimes i make over 50 :) so it is nothing like fixed. yes i do get chance to remain active during vacation as well. [killersss]

Hello subha12 First of all I want to explain you that what do you mean by vacation whether you are in home or you out of station? If you are in home you may spare your few time to mylot, but if you are out of station it is not possible . For me during my vacation if I am in my home then I do not have any option to pass time I simply log in to mylot .But If I am out of station then there is no no question to log in to mylot. pkc3000 [pkc3000]
I did when I last visited my nephew here in Atlanta, GA before I moved down here in May. I plan to see my parents around Christmas holiday. I've been away from them for four months now. Well, now that I have a laptop, I do tend to take it with us anywhere that we go, and this includes when we are out of town on vacation, long weekend away, etc. So if I get a chance to get online and relax a little, I have been known to get on myLot and post some. Hi subha, before having a laptop I usually would like to log on to mylot site during my vocation. Of course firstly I have to see whether I could eke out some time before going to bed. Secondly there must be a cyber café available for sure. If there is only outlet with free wifi service like starbuck or coffee bean we still couldn't surf net, for pc is not provided there. Nowadays, if taking holidays in any beach or hill resorts locally together with my husband, I usually would like to bring along my laptop. We don't have to spend time visit the tourist sites here and there. So sometimes we could have leisure time enjoy coffee and surf net at the same time in outlet with wifi service. I wanted too on my vacation but I didn't get the time this summer finally. Sometimes I prefer take a little break of mylot,,,not because it's not fun, but in general I spend all year on it and on vacation it's so beautiful outside I like to be outside all day and not be in front of a computer during 2-4 hours ahha!lol [julie85]
