Just wondering what everyone's preference is. I love the sea but I personally love road trip better because it seems that we could stop wherever we want when we see some amazing scenery or interesting things. What about you?

I love the sea too, wondericequeen. But my preference would be a road trip. I like the ability to do and see many things, stop when I need to and visit the sea to get my fill of that too. A sea cruise confines my activities too much. [makingpots]

hello wondericequeen Do You Prefer Sea Cruise or Road Trip? i haven't had the pleasure of being on a Cruise Ship before. and i would love to be able to go anywhere on a cruise sometime. i cannot imagine being on a big boat like that that holds how many people? i might get aboard the boat and freak out or something. and then again, i might find it relaxing. i have been on plenty of road trips and they are fun, but i have been on airplanes before as well, and i would rather drive somewhere than to fly anywhere. and i still await when my day comes to take sail into the wild blue yonder. have a wonderful day today! Yea a friend of mine says it's fun for be on a cruise ship but I get bored easily and I don't like to be stuck on a ship. I would prefer my two feet on the land and walk around! happy [wondericequeen]
I would prefer a road trip as well. Just as you said, on a road trip you are able to stop where you want and when you want. Plus I find (if you travel with someone) a road trip can be alot easier on the wallet which is a big issue with everything being so expensive these days. Just my opinion. [Badams]

I much prefer road trips, wondericequeen. I don't like the ocean at all. I also believe I would find such a travel method really boring. I prefer a road trip, where I can keep my feet on the ground. I don't know how to swim and I'm a bit afraid of the water. But there is always a room for a sea cruise as long as the trip is not very long. [robert19ph]

I prefer a road trip or a train trip even more. The scenery along a road or a train tack is often scenic and if traveling by car you can stop off whenever you like. The longest car journey I have done was Brisbane to Cairns. We saw sugar cane fields and mountains. We stopped of for a swim at a beautiful palm fringed beach. Traveling by sea is fine when the weather is calm but rough waves can make me sea sick. I like to travel past pretty islands like I have done in Croatia and the Maldives. The worst sea trip I did was between Sumatra and Malaysia when I was really ill. Another time the voyage from Wales to Ireland was so rough that all further sailings that day were canceled. Hello wondericequeen, I am afraid of sea so that will be my last choice or maybe, not a choice at all. I prefer road trip rather than others as I feel safer, more convenient and as you said, you can stop wherever you want. I love to drive too as I think I am safer than any other drivers that I know... i also would prefer a road trip. just like you said, in a road trip we can always make a stopover in a place with good sceneries and take pictures of it. we can't make stopover in a sea cruise right? and then, in a sea cruise, what will you see is limited. only the amenities and and other features of the ship. and the sea travel always takes a long time. and then, if the ship sinks in the ocean, there's a lesser chance to survive. if an accident happens in a road trip, there's a higher possibility to survive. happy [secretbear]
I like both, but I do like road trips because you can stop wherever you like and stay as long as you want. I haven't cruised for awhile,but I'm sure we will take one in the future. [snowy22315]
