I am taking my baby son to Latvia for two weeks. It is a small country between Poland and Russia. We might pop over to Lithuania and Estonia if we have time. All we have arranged so far is a flight to Riga, capital of Lativa. I think a day at the coast would be lovely so too would a day in the countryside. I hope to take many photos of the historic buildings and beautiful landscape. There are so many places to discover in Europe. When I get back home I will tell you all about my trip.

We had a terrific trip in Latvia and did find the time to see some of Lithuania and Estonia as well. I traveled mostly on buses and also went on a few trains. I have been to Holland twice now and liked cycling there a lot. I hope that you go to Capri one day soon. [maximax8]

We had a wonderful trip seeing the interesting capital cities of Riga, Vilinus and Tallinn. The countryside with its forests was really beautiful and the beaches were quite pretty. It must be exciting to be a sailor. I would love to go to India one day and see places like Goa and Kerela. Yes, I love tropical beaches very much indeed. [maximax8]
Wow! Talk about start early, your baby will have the travelling spirit for sure and will definitely take after his mum! I have been to quite a few places in Europe, in actual fact I haven't been any further than Europe! One day I might get to New Zealand. Yes, my son is getting the traveling spirit early in his life. I wonder how many places he will have been to before the time he has to start school. The bus coampanies gave him a seat unlike the airline. We spent six days in Lativa, four days in Lithuania and four days in Estonia. We had a ride in a cable car, a generous lady gave my son a toy giraffe and many kind people said hello to him. Vilinus was an amazing city with stunning view points like the hill with the crosses. Sigluda had an amazing looking castle and a scenic forest. The pushchair broke so we had to buy a new one in Estonia. I hope that you go to beautiful New Zealand one day and really enjoy it my friend Wolfie. [maximax8]

I wish you could take me in your suitcase.lol I am jealous and would love to go on a trip like that. I would love the countryside but I would also love the ocean. I would probably spend half my time in each. I won't be going on a holiday till the end of the year, and I am going to Las Vegas for New Years, with my daughter. I will love it too, because of the lights and the excitement. I haven't been to Vegas for 11 years so I am looking forward to it. happy [chrislotz]

Oh wow, I hope you have a fantastic time. I have a friend who comes from Lituania and another who has visited a couple of those countries too and she said it was great. I hope you both have a wonderful time. I have just been back to the UK to see my mother - it was her 80th birthday and as she can't fly any more her 81 yr old sister flew over from South Africa - marvellous. It was a fantastic family reunion and a great time was had by all. It also made me realise how much I love my new home in the Dom Rep and I couldn't wait to get back to it and my BF. Greetings, maximax8. Your upcoming trip to Latvia, and perhaps Lithuania and Estonia sounds very adventurous! Yes, I have been to Europe. We traveled to England 10 or 12 years ago to see StoneHenge, Salisbury, Bath, and London. It was fascinating and a wonderful experience. We went to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan late last year. Our plan is to go to Las Vegas this year (again). Next year, we may go to Europe again, namely, England (again), Scotland, and perhaps Wales. We shall see.
