I have never been on a major cruise ship before and wonder what it is like and if you had fun and exactly what kinds of things are on the ship.

I too have heard some not so good things about them but that doesn't happen very often so I am still willing to go on one to see what it is like. [kgwat70]

Yes I have. They are a lot of fun. I was on Royal Carribean to the bahamas. It was a blast. There is a casino, gift shops, movie theaters, all kinds of places to eat (almost all food is included in ticket price so eat up), pools, games, just so much it is so much fun. Then you have your port stops to where you get to go onland to beautiful places and do fun stuff there too. I highly recommend cruises. Also I recommend the Carnival cruise line my mom has been on their ships and says they are even better than Royal C. [sweetdesign]

I have. I went on one a few years ago. It was awesome! there were lots n lots of things to do. The excursions were the best though [dragonxazn]

Yes, went on a ship called the Fairstar, to Fiji, while it was a lot of fun, I found out that I am not one for the sea. Had a bad time with sea sickness, so would not go again! [caramello]

No I haven't, but hope to someday. I've heard that going on a cruise is absolutely amazing, I'd just be scared of getting sea sick. [Jshean20]
I have been on a few cruises. It's great! Not too relaxing though cause it seems like they have the whole time planned out. But it was still a great time! Lots of ports of call can lead to a busy vacation though. 2-3 is perfect for a cruise! [nanette1978]

I have been on a cruise ship and it was wonderful. It is certainly the best bang for your buck. Food, lodging and travel all rolled into one package. There is just about everything you could want on the ship. Dining, dancing, entertainment, shopping, gambling, pools, hot tubs, salons and lots of side trips when you are in port. I'm going again. Yes I went to the Bahamas on a cruise ship it was great fun had a good time but I was alergic to the water on the ship and I was in hives the whole trip and the doctor gave me steroids to get ride on the alergie and I did not sleep for three days! [sailoffwithme]

The best vacation you could ever take for relaxing and having fun. My husband suprised me with one a couple of years ago and we still talk about it today. We will definetly be going again. We loved all the food they serve 24 hours a day, the variety of shows and games they have,shopping and side excursions are wonderful. I don't know how anyone could go on a cruise and not have fun. Just don't get to drunk to remember how fun it was. You will be waited on hand and foot. [Mommamea]
