I have several mylot friends i would dearly like to meet in person if i had the funds to travel.
What i would love is to have a 'mylot union' with the friends i have in a nice pub having a few beers and a bar lunch and a pile of laughs.
would you be surprised by what they looked like?

It would depend on funds for me. If I had the money, I'd travel across the world meeting some of the people I have become very close to. I can imagine who my first few stops would be, but honestly there are a lot of people I would like to meet. If I did not have such a big fear of flying I would travel to either America or Scotland for our union. I know what a couple of my friends look like, we are waiting to see you Mr X. What a fantastic idea that would be; a myLot union party! I can promise you I'd be willing to travel as far as I had to but while the spirit is quite willing the pocketbook is not right now. hi xboxboy! i dunno about your idea, because i am drawn to mylot because of the anonymity it promises. doing something like that would ruin that mystery for me. so i guess, i will have to pass. at the same time, i am scared. you don't know the people here personally. i mean, i know there are many good people here, and i am pretty sure that they far outnumber the sleazy, conning types, but still i am wary. you wouldn't know who to trust. look at it this way, people get conned even by the people we know. how much more people we don't know. thanks anyway, but i prefer to stay this way. thanks and God bless! :-) [spoiled311]

If I wasn't scared spitless to fly and if I had the funds I'd travel all over the world to meet some of my favorite myLot friends. I have had more friends help me by their prayers and support on myLot than I have right here in my neighborhood. How sad is that? It is however true. [Grandmaof2]

Already for two years I did not travel far away from where I live this time. But if I would travel far away it should be for a good reason, For example to see my family. I have two little children, so I don't think I can go far so often with them. But for mylot friend, I think i prefer to meet the one live near by, for example still in the same country and region, So it will be very near, and short drive only. :) [nyumix]

I've met a couple of my Mylot friends, so no, I wouldn't be surprised what they looked like. I get to know all that before I meet them, otherwise I'd end up approaching the wrong person. Those were not more than a hundred and fifty miles away, but if I had the money and time was not of the issue, then I would travel as far as I needed. I've already flown to Oregon in the United States, to stay four weeks, with a friend I met in Pogo, and everything worked out just great, so I'd love to meet more of them. Brightest Blessings. Well I love to travel so thats not the issue LOL it costs money to travel long distance though which IS the issue LOL..but I'd love to meet some of the ppl I've come to know here on mylot....Its actually pretty fun doing that..I was a member of the Molson Canadian forum YRS ago and we had a molson party and it was pretty cool meeting some of the ppl..Of course it was also at a club that I love which was a huge factor LOL [Ravenladyj]

I haven't been here long and have not made any real friends yet, so at this point, I would not travel. However, once I do make friends, if I do, then I would travel far. I'd travel the globe if I had the funds to do so, I have made several close friends around the world and would love to meet them all, from the land down under, to Canada, to Europe, to the Mid East It would be hard to choose a friend to go see first, but Id probably want to start in England......and work my way around the globe and back across the US. The Philippines in one my list of places to go and many of my friends come from there. Some people have their photo on My Lot, others don't so I would be surprised to see what they look like. Well, I'm sorry to say I missed the big get together... I have traveled from Maryland to Las Vegas to meet a group of internet friends. We had chatted together for a couple years and planned a meeting. About 30 of us showed up, all staying in the same hotel - most on the same floor. We had a blast! It was great meeting the people, seeing faces, hearing voices. That was about 12 years ago and I keep in touch with most of them still. [reinydawn]

I think that I would meet with a mylotter if they were already here in my town. It would just be way to much work to drag my kiddos to the pub and on a plane and the lay overs. I can say here are several people that I would want to see.
