when ever my family have some surplus money and every body is free we go for vacation .and it is 2-3 times in a year [sonusd]
When I still lived in Holland, I used to go all the time on vacation with my family! We would usually go to France, or some bungalowresidence in Germany or Holland as well! And we really went many times in a year, thanks to the shop my dad owned! This way we were able to go about 3,4 months on vacation yearly! which ofcourse has been great. But now we moved to Hungary, and I'm not going on vacation anymore! Because for me, Hungary is all vacation only! I don't need to work (but I do for the extra money), I have friends and I can do whatever I want! And it's all much better then in Holland or anywhere lese in the world, because you don't have stress here! Which ofcourse is great and rarely nowadays! So in my opinion..nowadays I'm always on a vacation! LOL [slot100]
Last vacation i have, I only spend for 3 days in my parents home. I was happy i was abl to take a leave in my work and i went back there. It was so much fun to be with my family again. I do really miss them a lot even now. Its hard when you are away to you love ones. I know everybody knows how hard it is. That is why to be able to visit them is really a memorable day always. We try to go on vacation at least once a year and the last time we went was in March . We went up to see a good friend of mine that lives seven hours away . I really wanted to make it up there again this summer but we never made it back up with the cost of gas and not being able to find the time because of my husband working . I have only been up there twice since she moved and the first time I ever went up , I absolutely loved it and said if I ever moved I was going to move up there because it was such a nice area and the stores were nothing like I am used to . The malls were only twenty minutes from where she lived but the prices were incredibly cheap compared to what I pay for things in my area . I really hope to make it back up there again next summer if not before hand since my husband applied for a job up that way . I am really hoping he gets the job :) [samtaylorskykierajen]
Enjoy your vacation! I haven't gone on vacation in 20 years! I remember my oldest son turned 7 while we were away on vacation; he's 27 now. We went to the beach and rented a cottage for a week. It was so nice and peaceful. We had our own little private part of the beach so I loved waking up early and taking a walk along the beach, enjoying the peace and quiet, the sound of the waves, the seagulls, the breeze. I would love to go on vacation again soon. I love the beach, but would love to visit other countries, meet the people there, get to know them and how they live. My husband has promised me that we would travel soon, so I may get to visit these other countries soon. [mentalward]
We are going for vacation only once in a year that also at the time of school vacation. We are visiting our native place and relatives. Kids are very eagerly waiting for the vacation so that they can play a lot. They can take bath in the river nearby and enjoy boating. [Sreekala]
I rarely go to a vacation because if I am going out of town, it is for business purposes. The last time that I really went to an all out vacation was last year where I spend my holy week, together with my family, in the province of my parents. I really enjoyed it big time! I go on vacation as often as I can! Usually 2 times a year, when my husband can fit it into his schedule. Last vacation we went to Hawaii and that was in February. We want to go on one more vacation to Disney World in Florida in October before our baby is born in November with the 2 year old we have. But I don't know if I will be able to handle the drive and too much walking being pregnant. We want to go back to Hawaii because the weather was perfect with the south Pacific wind! You can't feel the heat and it's always sunny and beautiful! But we decided that if given the chance to live there we can. I rarely go to vacation by myself. I usually go with my parents at these times. Later on I'd like to go with my Darling as well. Last time I was in an Italian 'spa-city' - Bibione (Veneto) - with my parents around 2 years ago. I am not choosy where to spend my vacations again and again. Usually we go on a vacation once a year. It depends on how much money we make. This year we went about 3 hours away for one day. Since I work weekends and my husband works week days, one of us had to take a day off in order to have a vacation together. Thank you for wishing us all success. I didn't take a vacation this summer because, money was tight we were suppose to be going to Chicago, but no one had any money, we were going to see my sister who lives there in chicago, but we didn't have the money, so we didn't get to go, I really was looking forward to going this year, I will get to go some where some time soon.sad [notlistening2]

My last vacation was to Jamaica and that was two years ago. I've been to work every day I've been scheduled since then. Even on my anniversary my husband and I were supposed to take a trip but there was a major project that I was heading that had to be completed by the weekend of my anniversary. We were both disappointed but it had to be done. So now I have to wait until my next anniversary rolls around to take that trip again. Almost depressing just thinking about it. [MrsRich723]
We try and take the kids on a 2 weeks holiday every December normal we take them to the Gold Coast in Queensland in Australia and they have all the theme parks that the kids just love. But if things have been a little tight during the year then we cant go but there will always be the next year! But Luckily this year things havent been to bad for us and we are able to afford our holiday so we are off to Queensland this December and we are counting down the weeks until we go ... round on 28th of November, Queensland here come .. happyhappyhappy [msmell]
