Work weeks tend to blur into each other. I haven't had time off for over a year. This next week, my son and his family get to come from Louisiana to Texas for thanksgiving. They will be here on Wednesday and thursday and we are so excited. I'm off for 10 days! Yeah! It is exciting to get to see my son and the grandkids, but it is equally exciting to miss a week of work and still get paid! Yippee!

Good morning Estherlou, I am so glad that you are off for 10 days.. I know it will feel good to you not to have to go to work for those days and just enjoy your home life. It might be hard to get back in the groove again when you have to go back.. but you can handle that. It is great to get paid even when you don't work... that is what is great about vacations.. Dont you just love Vacations! We are not off until Wednesday. So we will be traveling the day before Thanksgiving all day long. I bet there will be lots of trafic. I hate holiday traveling. Hope you have a great 10 days off. Grandkids are the BEST. We are going to see our grandkids [villageanne]

Oh, yes. I will do that come spring. I will have a few days off at Thanksgiving, only one of them not paid. I am looking so forward to that. I think that I get tired of vacation before it gets tired of me. [GardenGerty]
Good for you, that is so nice...Grandkids are such a treat, i know you are looking forward to having them for 2 days, and then you will get to rest up for a few extra days...I have a brand new grandbaby, he was born this morning at 11:13 am, and i cannot wait to see him...They live in the hill country and i am so excited to go see him..He weighted 7 lbs 4 oz, with a 13" head, he has already got the ego going on.Doc said he is a healthy boy, and when they called he was just pitching a fit in the back ground...So Happy Thanksgiving to you and congratulations on your days off.
