This is the place where we stayed in ,its Manor Hotel,Located at Camp John Hay ,Baguio city Philippines, its a high place, theres a fog here at night and its cold and very nice weather..... so this place is like a mountain cause youll travel near a very stiff road and your car will have to go up a road,and above the mountain is a huge city.... so this city is very big its like the size of singapore....theres a lot of tourist destinations ....I wanna upload the other pics but it seems like I can put only one...happy

I visited Baguio City last eight years ago. But i can still remember the amazing beauty of the place. The tall pine tress,the horses, the native souvenirs and the cold atmosphere. I want to visit it again maybe in the future. [lyzabelle]
well today pine trees are just only a few.... its like they converted it to other trees....I dont know what happened....... there are a lot of souvenir shops there and silver stores where you can buy necklace rings stuff like that.....food like peanut brittle..........happy [chichong]
Wow, that's so nice. You are lucky enough to have yourself relax in a vacation. I really envy you since I can't take any leave from my company anytime soon because we are all fed up with a lot of work.I may probably go on vacation 4 or 5 months from now. [nengs10]

I'm quite familiar with the place because for us Filipinos, we consider Baguio city as the summer capital of the Philippines. But personally, I've been there last about six years ago. And during this particular time, I was with my husband (still my boyfriend then) and he accompanied me to a local savings bank to apply for a job. We aren't residents of the place but the main office of the branch I was applying to was located there. We looked like happy lovers but honestly, we weren't able to enjoy ourselves much because our main purpose in going there is really for employment. Now that we're already married for more than five years, we never had the chance to get back there because of financial reasons; but we still have it in our plans to return there but this time, it will consists of not only me and my husband but also our daughter. Anyway, I do hope you have or had a great enjoyable vacation over there and you return safe and happy in the following days. Regards and take good care of your health and pockets! lol [mykmari_08]
well the changes ive noticed is that it seems like the weather changed .... its like its more hotter now than a few years back... probably because the number of population is increasing therefore the houses are increasing too and more houses means more trees being cut down and more garbage they throw.....we I enjoyed it its a great place and still more colder than manila....happy [chichong]
Hi chichong.happy Wow what a nice pic you posted.Would you believe that I've never been to baguio lolbut I've gone to places like Lake Caliraya Country Club,stayed in Days Hotel in Tagaytay for 3 days and some other places but never been to Baguio..lol.A lot of people would pity me for not seeing Baguio.lol. I don't have the time actually and I don't know I am actually wondering why I haven't visited Baguio when I can travel and go to far places like Tagaytay,Batangas,Pangasinan which is already few hours already to Baguio. Well I hope one day I can see the beauty of Baguio City.Once I get off of the bus(bec.I don't have a car)I'll do a cartwheel for getting that far and able to see Baguio.wub [pinks17]

I once stayed at manor and it was not a good idea! Some idiots brougth their chairs in the terrace and talked their as if they own the place at night and we were not able to sleep because of the noise. Since there is not aircon in their rooms, we have to close the windows and the atmosphere in the room is not conducive to sleeping! From then on, we always choose a hotel with aircon when going to baguio so the the temperature is controlled and no noise from neighboring rooms! [everlasting]
well we got 3 rooms because we cant fit in just 1 room .The 3rd is the largest room and is located on 4th floor from the very end.... our room is just located together so the only voice we can hear is the voice of our relatives..... and yeah i guess we are the only ones who are noisy in there.... but not that noisy... you can hear people talk cause its so quiet..... and you can see other people in the terrace so we can talk to them also......so if theres a problem we can talk to them....happy [chichong]
What a beautiful place to vacation!! And I love fog, isn't it lovely? I stopped the car last week on the way to work to look at the fog. I've seen people put their pictures in a composite and post 3-4 photos at once because the computer thinks it's one photo. Maybe you could try that. I'd really like to see some others! [dragon54u]

Staying in a mountainous place with fog and cold weather can be a very nice vacation. I have a friend who lives on top a mountain and we go there to hang out and get involved in the misty nights with barbeques and its all very nice and enhancing. Its not always promoted as a nice vacation but its quite good when you do it. [Bluepatch]

Congratulation on getting back from your vacation. The scenery you showed in your discussion reminded of one place here in Northern Areas of Pakistan and its called Shograan. I went there in 2004, we were just going up and up, circling around the hills and suddenly, all the mountains seem levelled. I still cannot forget that scene when all the mountains were levelled and there was only one hotel up there and nothing. The flowers were great in the hotel's garden. [ashar123]

I've been there......quite a long time.And it's only for 2 nights and 1 whole day.It's all but a rush rush trip because we only have the whole day to go around.I enjoy the few minutes stay at the mines view park.Do they still throw coins there?I was half concerned with those catching the coins during that time.You can share your other pics next time.Good to see you back! I've never been to baguio chichong. May be in the future I will. I have no enough money to travel there yet since I dont any source of income yet. Its nice to know that there are still places like this in the Philippines. I hope that our country will improve more their tourism activities. [bestre]

Hello chichong, Wow! I do feel jealous when listening/reading other people's vacation experience*smiles* It has been quite long since the last time I went for a vacation. I remember spending my time at a chalet nearby a valley in Sabah. It was so cold, the scenery was beautiful especially during sunrise and sunset and everything was just perfect for a memorable holiday. How I wish I can go again in a near future! [gr8life]
welcome back! well baguio is one of my favorite places here in the philippines, i like the weather in baguio coz it's cold, unlike here in manila, it's pretty damn hot hehehe.. the last time i visited baguio is feb 2008, the weather there is about 12 degrees celcius & in manila it's about 28 degrees hehhee.. anywayz, this is we're i had an official business trip, we went to PMA or philippine military academy, as you can see i attached a picture of the cadets. they stand straight, they will not look to anywhere & take note even they see a beautiful girl, they will not turn their heads to her coz they are really focus lol have you been into PMA?
