Along with the Mississippi Queen Paddlewheel tour boats I saw this one. Now this is some kind of party boat cruise line. I forgot to get the name of the company and all but I did get a couple of photos of it. It also goes along the Mississippi River in and near Downtown Minneapolis. The only difference is this is a "party" boat not a tour so to say. They party and don't talk about the history of Minneapolis during the tours. I love the size and looks of this so wanted to share it. Inside the boat are elegantly decorated tables, a huge bar for the ones that wish to drink etc. Not for me. It looks awesome but I know I'll never take that tour as I prefer to keep away from a lot of "party" type drinking people in a large setting as this. Thanks and have a great day/evening.

The boat does sound pretty neat and if I swam at all I would not mind getting on one but I am not a swimmer and I am afraid of water. I did get brave and go on a small river boat years ago and it was not so bad but a party boat, I am afraid with all the excitment they would throw me in! [kimlot]
We have a few paddlewheel boats here in Winnipeg, too. We have some on The Red River and some on the Assiniboine River. Tommorrow night my husband and I are going on a dinner curise on the Red River. It's a little pricey but well worth. It is a three hour cruise and they are serving a buffet. The weather is supposed to be very nice and clear so we should be able to see the stars toward the end of the cruise. Its from 8 PM to 11 PM/ I'm looking forward to it, as I haven't been on one of them for about 10 years. [helenfillion]

I had fun looking at this picture. The Mississippi boats are great, I have seen them in person. We have these boat tours here on this side of the big pond, too. One ship even has a wheel. We also have Moby Dick, a boat that looks like a whale. It is a fun boat for partying with music and dances. I include a picture of Moby Dick. [Inky261]
