To All My Friends
I am going away on vacation tomorrow, leaving very early in the morning. We will be away for 6 days, so it may be seven days when I am back on MY Lot.
We are going to Penneshaw, a very small township on Kangaroo Island. The holiday house I have there is three streets from the beach, and has a magnificent view. It will most likely be cold, wet windy, but we don't care, as there is still so much to see. This time, hubby wants to drive to the bottom of the island to see Platypuses in their natural habitat.
I won't be much on My Lot today either, as I have to pack, & then leave at 3.30pm today to take Bianca to a swimming competition.
It's all rush, rush, rush!!I am concerned that My Lot may close whilst I am away, giving me no time to pass on my email address to some good friends here. Hopefully that won't happen, & my Lot will hang on there with very low payments, before they are in a position to increase.

You are the second person to mention that MyLot might be closing. Is this just a rumor fueled by the fact that our earnings have gone down, or is it based on some real knowledge that someone has. I'd like to know if anyone else could fill me in? I hope you have a good vacation. It sounds just lovely. I realize a lot of people would like to come to America for vacation, but I'd lke to go where you are. I've been once, but had not near enough time to explore. Maybe you can get some pictures of the platypus. : ) [AmbiePam]
I do not think they will shut down in a week, but I am an optimist, what do I know. Have a wonderful time. Please come back with platypus pictures. I have never seen one at a zoo or anywhere. Have a wonderful vacation Jenny, I know you will, I can't wait to go on my vacation in a few weeks to a week at the beach. Texas has been experiencing alot of wet, rainy weather so hopefully it will be done by then. Take lots of pictures and when you return, we would love to hear and see your fun times that you had. I hope you have a really good holiday and that the weather will be better than you expect. We have had a lot of rain here in the UK. Today was much warmer though and sunny. I hope your daughter's swimming competition went well. The photo you posted of the beach where you are going looks great. I wish I was going on holiday but I cannot afford it this year. I have not heard of anyone mentioning that mylot might close. I really hope not. I hope we will still be using the site as usual by the time you get back from your holiday. [organiclady35]

May you have a wonderful holiday, jennybianca. I´ve never heard of Penneshaw, but it certainly looks lovely. Nor do I know what Platypuses are (ignorant me), but I´ll check later in Wikipedia, lol. But you´ve certainly given me a good idea for my next holiday destination, providing I´ve got the money. I don´t think myLot is going to close down unless you plan to stay away for a year.
