What are your thoughts on this story? It doesn't do anything to dispel the rumors that were floating all over before and after Suri's birth that Tom Cruise isn't the biological father. Especially since it had been believed he was sterile since he and Nicole Kidman had adopted their children. I'm not bashing Tom Cruise but you must admit he's been acting kind of weird for some time now. What do you think?

Hi Annie, I have to say I wondered, because Suri doesn't look anything like Tom Cruise, but then I know many kid don't always look like their parents, but if there is something like that, that did happen, I have to say he may very well never confirm it..... I heard that he acts weird because he has so much money, anyone who has valets give out tips to anyone who does anything for him is wealth, and can be considered weird. mooch [oneandonemakesix]
L. Ron Hubbard died back in the 80s. It doesn't seem very likely that sperm of his was preserved for 2 decades, not used by someone else & waiting for Tom Cruise. Why wouldn't Tom & Nicole have used it instead of adopting? I'm pretty sure Nicole Kidman is a Scientologist too. [eden32]
No, Nicole is Catholic and apparently there had been some problems in her marriage to Cruise concerning his religion, I think because she didn't change to Scientology. The story said Hubbard's sperm had been frozen. Annie [anniepa]
I've never been a particular fan of Tom Cruise to begin with and to be honest, I avoid most movies that have him in them...he makes me want to punch out his "cute" little face..LOL..Yes, he just has always rubbed me the wrong way big time. As for the sterility issue..all I know is, is that Nicole Kidman certainly wasn't incapable of having children, as she is now expecting her first child. No disrespect to those who follow Scientology..I mean I have read a bit into it and all, but I always found most who follow this "cult" or whatever you want to call it a bit on the peculiar side, and Cruise is no exception..in fact this seems to be the "thing" to follow among many of the celebrities...but then..who am I to judge??..some think I might be weird since I'm on the pagan/wiccan path [pyewacket]
I haven't seen her in a while but I thought Suri looked a lot like him...maybe even more than Katie. I just think the whole situation is odd all around....and I'd never heard the rumors about him being sterile, just that Nicole had multile miscarriages. Genes can be strange. With 6 children you'd think that a few would look obviously mine, but no, only my oldest son looks enough like me...well a boy version of me. My oldest daughter looks like her father, my youngest daughter looks like her paternal grandmother except for my hair, my 2nd and 4th sons are little clones of my s/o, and my 3rd son is a mix of both his grandfathers...and oddly enough s/o looks nothing like his dad so it's an obvious case of those recessive genes at work. I have this on my Celebrity News and Views blog. It was compared to "Rosemarys Baby" Even though Tom and Katie do not need the money. Cruise and the Church of Scientology are suing Andrew Morton and the publisher, St. Martin's Press, for 100 million dollars. This is how rumors can and will destroy lives. If they (Morton and publishers)can not come up with proof of this rumor then they deserve to be sued. And they should have to make a public apology to them for starting and printing this without getting all the facts. [Kowgirl]

LOL. Well I don't know if it's true or not, but it did make me laugh. Why didn't the author go all the way and say the baby is a descendent of Xenu? Nicole Kidman says she had a miscarriage and a tubal pregnancy during her marriage to Tom Cruise. Of course there is no way of knowing whose sperm it was lol. I don't know. This sounds like a bad science fiction story. Given the fact that Scientology was founded by a science fiction writer, that is my first thought about it. Considering that there are gold phonograph records and player out in the desert to ensure that Hubbard's voice can be heard by future generations (just in case, we blow ourselves up), it is not hard to imagine Hubbard's sperm being preserved. I don't know much about his religion, but I don't believe about the donated sperm. The reason is, Katie Holms was in a long time relationship before Tom, then poof...she and Tom are getting married. From when her pregnancy was announced and calculated conception date, they were "active" right away - like the day she split from long time boyfriend. There have been rumors on the Suri's parentage; however, it was speculated that it was Holm's long time boyfriend. I think in the wierd, world of Tom there will always be rumors and speculation. As far as Kidman, I know she couldn't get away from him fast enough and wants to stay as far away from him as possible. I definately think there is dirt there, but I just don't believe the spearm donar story. [ljegbers]
