I just wanted to let all my friends and other members know that I am back from my trip. I see the changes that myLot made and it will take me some time to learn the new features and get adjusted so I could use your help. :-) I am still a bit disoriented after my vacation and plane ride. :-) It was a wonderful week with my brother, sister, sister in law, niece, nephew and stepson. We ate plenty of good food, went to parks, shops, saw a symphony done for children, went bowling and went a childs birthday party. I got to sleep on a waterbed for the week. :-) I got to meet their neighbors and worked out in a huge gym. Delaware is way behind as far as technology as well as state of the art athletic fields. We had horrible downpours and storms Thursday and Friday but the last couple of days were gorgeous. Grapevine, Texas is a very nice city. I definitely missed everyone here as well as here at home. Has anyone else visited Texas? What cities did you visit? What did you like or not like about it?

I have visited Texas ..I spent a short time in Panhandle, Texas..Ken. What I recall about the state is that it's "flat" and dry and hot.. I think the changes here on mylot are really nice. So since you brought up being home from vacation a couple times..I haven't noticed whether you brought all your friends a souvenir? Its great to see you back. I am glad that you had a wonderful time. I don't think you will have too much trouble with the new features. I am very resistant to change and I am handling it well.lol. No, I have never been to Texas,actually I have never been out of New York state. But my boyfriend has been there. His ex had family there and he went to visit but I don't know where. [brendalee]

Welcome home!! Nice to have you back and so glad to hear that you had such a wonderful time too. I have visited Texas. Several different cities as well. I first visited Texas in 1998 to visit Jason when he was in the Air Force there. We then traveled back there in January of 2006 to visit friends in Dallas and we also went back to San Antonio where Jason had been stationed. I love San Antonio, where in Texas were you? We drove in 2006 from San Antonio to Baton Rouge from Baton Rouge to Dallas and from Dallas back to San Antonio. It was a alot of fun and we got to see a lot the countryside. [Penguinsangel]
Thank you for the welcome back. It is nice to be back though I miss my family very much. I am thinking somewhere down the road I may move there but it will not be for a while. I was in Grapevine, Texas. It is near Dallas and Fort Worth. It is beautiful there and the homes are nice and most shops and other things are bigger and better than ours here. [kgwat70]
Welcome back Ken, we missed you. I haven't been on much the last few days, I haven't spent much time checking out the new changes. I click on mylot and then click on discussions. That part has stayed the same. I have been to Texas, its a big state. We drove from N to S and then across the south part of the state. It took us 3 days to get thru it. We went thru Houston, and spent time in San Antonio, went to the Alamo. Also we went to El Paso. Did you get to see some dust devils? I am glad you had a nice and safe trip. [Polly1]

i always travel ..but its an official one ...i rarely take a vacation because of my schedule and financia budget..if i do decide to have one im always with my wife..and we did once that was 5 years ago..and its fun and refreshing... [fox123]

I lived in Corpus Christi as a teenager and I have travelled all over Texas. I know Grapevine, Texas near Dallas and Fort Worth. It is one of my favorite places. I have been to so many cities in Texas, I wouldn't know where to start. I have lived in Lubbock where my ex graduated from Texas Tech (I didn't like the climate there). I don't think you could name too many cities that I haven't been in Texas. I like Tyler over in East Texas. San Antonio is really nice too. I like Houston, as well. I've never visited Texas but I've heard it's a wonderful place, though very hot. I'd love to visit one day and just maybe I will. I'm glad you had a wonderful vacation and that you enjoyed it.
