I have been in vacation, Italy, France, Spain, Florida. [valeria1]
Wow!All of those places so far in 2008?Lucky you! [neelygal]
I went to punjab for 3 weeks for my cousins wedding and it was fun you should think about going there [krazzykang]
Where is that exactly? Was it expensive? [neelygal]
I went away for fifteen days with my toddler son. We flew to Riga in Latvia and popped over by bus to Lithuania and Estonia. We stayed in locally owned guest houses and traveled to countryside, cities and coast. I liked seeing the historic architecture, meeting the friendly local people, finding out about the history and seeing an old castle castle with splendid views. I think that your children would love to go to Florida with its superb entertainment but you also deserve a little trip away with just your husband. [maximax8]
Fifteen days is my idea of too short a trip. My longest trip lasted just over one year when I went around the world aged 20 to 21. my next longest trip lasted a few months when I went to New Zealand aged 30. These days I have two dogs that I don't like to leave for too long. I would love to go to Florida one day. [maximax8]
I went on vacation mid July for a week in Orlando. It was a family vacation we did the Universal studios thing, good times. [Tim8806]
It wasn't bad at all for us. Online they have a great offer it's a 7 day pass for like $90. For both parks. We were only there 5 days but it was still a great deal. My only complaint was the rain and long lines. You have to get there really early yo get the rides in. [Tim8806]
Myself and my husband went to Antigua in Februaray - in fact we got married whilst there! : ) We are not now going away again this year but going early on again next yera and going for 3 weeks to Florida! x [frankiecesca]
Lol - thanks - I am trying to get lots of travelling in now before I have children! x [frankiecesca]
So far we just went to Saskatoon where we spent a weekend and my husband complained that because of his stroke, we can never take a trip to the States because of the medical insurance we will have to pay, or to Vancouver because he cannot sit in the car that long. I would like us to go to Florida but it does not look like it. Then there is a potential wedding coming up. So I doubt if we will do much vacationing this year at all. Maybe next year it will be much better. [suspenseful]
I am saving my money so if something happens we can go. OH and I hope it is not a tragic event like my husband dying. I mean his family had so much bad luck over the years. First his oldest sister got all these strokes and possibly ALS or some other disease, his oldest brother died of cancer. His brother that is a year or so older than he is all right and so is his younger brother and sister, but I mean in just a few years all this happens. I want him to get better so we can go to the States. I want to see Mount Rushmore, and all the other landmarks. [suspenseful]
We have not gone on vacation this summer. My son is taking a mini vacation with my sister tomorrow. They are going to go to Arkansas for a few days to visit one of her friends that just bought a house by a lake. [lilybug]
Well at least your son is getting to go away for a few days.Maybe next year you will get to go. [neelygal]
I went to hanoi in vietnam. it was interesting and convenient cos it's only about 4 hours from my country via airplane. i also had to renew my passport because it was going to expire. orlando sounds really nice! I've been to disneyland but the anaheim one instead of the orlando one. I've heard that the orlando one is better. also great to go on a couple trip! definitely sounds like heaven. my hanoi trip was also just me and my hubby. It was great cos we managed to go on a city tour and stayed in a cheap but great and new hotel, and also went on a 2 day one night cruise in this unesco heritage site. all in all a pleasant trip. [squaretile]
I am glad you had a nice time.I wish I had the extra money to visit someplace far away like that. The plane fare alone would cost an arm and a leg from The Bahamas. [neelygal]
i hope you have swell time with your husband and that you have enough time to spend some time with your family too. [klamor20]
Thanks.Im sure we will have a good time. [neelygal]
Sounds like a nice chance to get away alone with your husband. Enjoy! Orlando is a great vacation spot. Have fun. I was in Arizona in April visiting our grandkids and our youngest daughter. My husband had to stay here and work. That's the extent of my vacation this summer. My husband coaches softball so he traveled quite a bit this summer with the team. I was here with our pets.
