For me, it depends where i'm going - if to a jungle, i love going on safaris. If i'm going to a beach, i love sun bathing and playing in the sea waters :),clubbing too if it's a good party place. If i go to the mountains though, i just want to relax and walk/drive through the long winding roads.

On vacation I like to go to the Florida Keys or Cayman Islands to scuba dive. Diving is so relaxing to me. It's like a whole new world to explore. [EdwardF]

My very favorite vacation is going to any Amish village, getting a hotel room locally, and spending days shopping and eating. The food is always the best and the handiwork cannot be beaten. I am a collector of wooden kitchen items -especially spoons and cutting boards. When I visit the flea markets in these villages I love to gather new treasures and when using them, I love to think about the previous hands that used the item and the love that went into preparing the food that was made with it. My usual vacation is a working one, we go to a flea market on Thursay and set up our car port tents, one we use to sleep and cook food in and the other is where we sell books, movies, toys, electronics, and other things as we have them. We stay a total of 5 days over the weekend and pack up to leave that Monday night. We look forward to going since the kids are the size now that I can walk off and look around when I want to and take the kids to the best spots when we vendor close up for the evening and often shop amongst ourselves a bit. My only other vacation is staying in a cabin somewhere in the woods and walking alot during the day and in the evening having a nice meal and watch the stars and maybe make a fire to watch dance. All I want to do when I go on vacation is relax! Sit on the beach, lie back with my ipod and laze, then have a good long swim in the swimming pool and mosey down to the restaurant and sample the local food. I want somewhere which is quiet, miles away from the nearest nightclub. Limasol in Cyprus would be ideal, oh if I could only be there now, sunning myself without a care in the world. [wolfie34]

when I go on vacation I love to visit museums, and art gallories, and places like that. I also love to find antique shops. I know that it sounds a little dull and I get allot of strange looks because I just turned 27. People think I should like going to amusement parks ect. and I am just not that kind of person. I love the more laid back cultural things to see. [stailgate]
