My friend just called me and plan to visit my place with his family..He ask me what are attraction available in my town.. I said mostly you can find beautiful beaches and cheap shopping venue..And he said his wives doesn't like beach so he prefer mountain or shopping only..I think it's fair enough if he cancel the trip for that reason rather than they are not happy here..I like to do sightseeing and taking photo on every beautiful natural sceneries..How about you? What is your favorite thinks to do when on vacation?

It's weird but honestly I just always sleep when I am on vacation. I don't know why. There are lots of places to go to and lots of things to do but when I remember that I am on vacation, I feel so relaxed... I feel that there are no worries. I think that maybe it's also because my body is making the most out of the vacation so I always feel sleepy... HAHA... But when I don't feel sleepy, I really love to explore things during my vacation. I don't really like certain things. Even if I am on the beaches or mountains, I would go as long as I am with the persons I love. [seventhblue]

Yes, you have a good attitude regarding your friends decision. I know that you would like to see him, but not if it makes the wife miserable. For me, life is a vacation! When I used to take vacations I would always seek out a quiet place, mountains, seaside...just wanted quiet and away from people. I lived in Las Vegas for a long time and in sales I had kowtow to people I didn't really like or know just to keep the edge with the competition! [richnai]
hi dwight, depends on the purpose of my vacation. hehe when we are having a vacation in a new place, of course we would want to explore the place and visit the tourist spots in there. most of the time we would want to go somewhere close to nature. we can do shopping before going back home and besides malls are everywhere! hehe we also love picture taking as you know...for souvenirs!lol but when we are having a vacation in my hometown, the things that i want to do is take a rest and just stay at home spending most of my time with my parents & my brother...sometimes i also like visiting my friends and keep in touch with them and of course visiting my favorite food stalls to eat my favorite foods that are not available in a place where i am living!happy [ckyera]

during the vacation I like to go a picnic and buy something. On vacation i would like to go for outing especially those places that i haven't seen yet, other things are reading books, then playing cricket or tennis or badminton and i do a lot of things on vacation, when i was in school vacation was a great opportunity for playing and relaxing, after 10 months continuous study classes and exams , we really enjoyed those days, but now the vacation is not as sweet as earlier... My favorite thing to do on vacation is sightsee. I get bored by sitting around and I have to go off exploring. For that reason a historical site is ideal for me. I went to Central America and that offered all I like to do on a vacation. The Mayan ruins were the historical sites. The caving was an exciting adventure. Staying in the tree house was a delight for I love going to unusual accommodation. I adore snorkeling. I love palm fringed beaches. It included wildlife viewing. I took many photos. Whenever I am on vacation, besides sightseeing, the favorite thing to do would be to read. In normal days, it's really very hard for me to find time to read. Besides being bogged down at work in the day, in the evenings, I have to coach my kids on their studies. [myzire72]
Wow, it's very nice to actually have a peaceful vacation day because that would make you de-stress yourself. Well, people do have preferences and that would be yours. Mine is different since I really love to travel and I would really spend time going to the places I want...that is if I have money to go that place. But as of the moment, I really don't have it. I do think that I could do reading while I have some vacant time...like I will find time just like spending time in mylot. Just like now, I immediately went in front of my PC after work since this is the only vacant time for me to spend in here. Well, I really wanted to have a vacation. I think I really need a break from this stressful life that I am facing but I am hoping that I will have a vacation that will actually pay me...like a vacation leave with pay. But I still am not capable for that...well, after 1 year, I will have that. Anyway, my favorite would be to travel. And I haven't experience that yet since I don't want to spend my money for that but still it's my favorite. I am just settling now on going to the beaches together with my friends and colleagues...but now, that I am so tan that I don't like it...I don't like to the beach anymore. It's just so hot in here that it's not good to go to swimming in this very hot weather. Shopping cant be avoided when it comes to overseas vacations.. lol =D It seems like a norma thing to do, for majority of ple.. AS for me, i dun care much about shopping, for i like to explore.. I will rather go for nature, such as hiking, or mountaineering if possible.. I love exploring a new city or a new country. I like to visit the famous sights as well as the unknown places, and I like to just walk around in the streets, look at the houses and the people, feel the atmosphere and take pictures of the beautiful places that I find. I like to visit museums in order to learn more about the history and the culture of the place, and I also like looking at the beautiful natural sceneries, meeting the local people, buying presents for my family and my friends and eating the local food.
