What is your favourite Tom Cruise movie and why ?
Mine is Vanilla Sky, the whole idea was so great. No doubt Tom appeared in several great movies but this one, i very much loved. What about yourself ?

i have two favorites... Top Gun is my top favorite and the other is Last Samurai... Tom Cruise looked great in these movies and he really was in his best acting form. [dolce_vita78]

I would have to say, Top Gun. I loved it. I am not a Tom Cruise fun but the movie was an exception. As for Vanilla Sky, I am so sorry but I have to disagree. The concept of cryonology is good but I did not really like how the story went. [mari_skye]

Mine is Top Gun. I worked for Avis Car Hire for 10 years, and were always surrounded by pilots, and we had the movie as part of our leadership training. But apart from that fact, I love airplanes ! and the whole movie was very well done, they had real Top Gun pilots performing the 'stunt' shots! How cool is that! I'm also a big fan of Kelly McGillis, and Tom Skerritt. I have seen Top Gun so many times I know the dialog! Thanks for a very nice topic my guru friend:) [Anniedup]

I like Vanilla sky myself. but the movie that got me to watch ANY tom cruise movie was interview with the vampire in 1994. he did a marvelous job playing Lestat! [silver_shaddow]
Hey, thanks. What I loved About Vanilla sky is his "childish" character, gotta love that car and the babes, lol. But also The whole dark and eery atmosphere although it was furturistic. [silver_shaddow]

This is a tough decision, but i must say its rain man with dustin hoffman, he was brilliant and his talent was still so raw. i love that movie even though its old [missportmore83]
