Yes true, we go for vacation right in the middle of summer, but then we always prefer a cooler destination, isn't it? Also in India, that's a normal choice as schools go on vacation putting up pressure on parents to go for a vacation with their children. Depends on which part of the world you are taking your vacation if its Goa then the best time to visit Goa would be between October to May. If you're The best place to visit for a short holiday or when you feel you need to unwind would be the golden beaches of Goa. soak up the sun, plunge in to the clear blue waters or just shake yourself on the beach with some tingling music its the right place to chill out. Here in the philippines, summer months are from march - early may. So we usually go on vacation early april. We sometimes gon on vacation also, during the holiday season, either last week of december or first week of January. [clod0327]

We usually go in late June or early July. We make this a huge family vacation and have gone to Dauphin Island in Alabama every year. Our children, grandchildren and my husband's brother and his wife and children all go together. We rent one of the big houses right on the ocean which is not that expensive when we all share the cost. We cook most of our meals and go eat out just a couple of times while we are there. We use one day to charter a boat for deep sea fishing which is a blast. It is just our family and the compition can become fierce. We usually stay 7 days and hate to leave when the week ends. We didn't get to go last year because a lot of the house were damaged or destroyed due to the hurricane so we are looking forward to going this year. The guy we charter the boat from is the same person every year and has become almost like family to us. Won't be long and we can take off!! [slanderson52]

Well when we go on vacation we usually go to Florida. We like to go when it's not too hot and the theme parks won't be extremely crowded, so we avoid the summer months, and go sometime between October and January. Sometimes we go on mini-vacations just to places a few hours away from where we live and we'll stay in a hotel for a night or two. Then we usually go during the summer. It's very fun! [dopey22girl]
