Please share to us which place type do you want to go if you planning on vacation, is it going to beach or going to mountain...
starting from me, i would like to go to mountain...its really make me hypnotized and make me so peace...

The mountains are beautiful, but I am very drawn to the ocean. I love the sound of it, the smell of it, the color of it. I don't live near the ocean, so I really enjoy it when we go on vacation. Walking in the shallow water and collecting shells are fun, but I'm a little afraid of going out into the deeper water if there are big waves rolling in. I got pinned underneath some waves a few years ago and I've been afraid of them ever since. [sunyskies]

Well,i like both. I would go mountaineering first...to feel the serenity of nature. I like camping...climbing and the adventure of mountains.(not to mention the wild animals woooo) And then,after the camping...a nice resort,if possible a secluded one will be better(not too crowded)to enjoy much of the nature again. Waking up from the sound of waves...the cool breeze and watching the sunset by the afternoon. What a sight these nature could ever givehappy [jaiho2009]
i prefer to go to mountain. because i like its weather which is so fresh and the green view. its so peaceful. but i also like to go to beach sometime for swimming or just seeing sunrise and sunset, its awesome! one thing i hate about the beach is, my skin is getting burnt and darker LoL [emediloy]
I was born in a place surrounded by mountains, big and small ones. When my family and I decide to have a vacation, we always go to the beach because it is something new for us. We went to the mountains once but most of the time its always at the beach. I love the beach. I love the sound of the waves and I love the wind blowing from the sea. [p3ks626]
Thats a hard one. I like both - but I guess I will have to go with the beach. I love to swim and snorkeling is a lot of fun. Plus, I have mountains fairly near to me so I can go if I really want to. There are not any pretty beaches around, just lakes with murky water. [HansonFan]
I like mountain more than beach. Beach is too hot and dry. Don't really have much things to see or do. You can spend whole day hiking and enjoying the beauty of mountain. It's also quite refreshing and windy in mountains usually. You can get shelters in mountains if it's too hot. [minotaur87]
honestly i prefer go to the beach for vacation,i like see waves and blue sky,we can playing volly ball and get fun with white sand.air so cool and nice viewed.I can get something different there. Good Luck [ridwan08]
I live on a mountain and have mountain ranges around me so that the view is breathtaking always and surely stirs the heart.. I understand your feelings exactly!! It is for that reason, that I would someday like to go to a fine beach again and enjoy the sand between my toes and the sun to warm me.. but.. hmm. One has to be so careful now with the sun.. too bad, but the beauty of water cannot be denied.. hmm. maybe I should take a cruise instead??? I would like to go to the mountain because i like the peace and quiet environment. In the beach there are a lot of people so you cant relax completely...Of course in the mountain i would like to be near where there is electricity, internet,...etc.hehe [emerillus]

Hmm.. I'm having a hard time deciding which one to choose since I love water so much and I've always dreamed of climbing a mountain someday. But if I really have to choose, maybe for a change I'll go mountain climbing, because in my case it's not everyday I get to see and climb a mountain. [Mebgem]
I love the mountains. When I was young, my grandfather would take me with him to the mountains. We have a small hut there and lots of fruit bearing trees. I love the peaceful life in the mountains. You can only hear the birds and crickets at night and the sound of the flow of water from the river. [wookieekyut]
Both mountain and beach has its own advantage and disadvantage. But between them I would choose beach for this time. It doesn't mean mountain is not good, because usually I will change my vacation destination based on my feeling. The thing is for right now, I can enjoy my vacation more at beach. [iharidh]
I love the mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. To me, this is the most beautiful place in the world. The sun setting over the canyons is absolutely breathtaking. [ajmclaw]
Hi, I prefer the beach! To swim in tepid waters, to read a good book to the sound of the waves! To take a walk in the sand without the shoes. To eat in the restaurante the side sea :) I really miss the beaches in the south of Portugal! [deboraah13]
I love the mountains! When my family goes on vacation that is the only choice their is! We love it because of the snow. Being from Texas we do not get much snow so we go to the mountains to find the snow we crave. It is kind of funny because right now in north texas we are receiving anywhere from 4-8 inches of snow! I don't share the same interest with you there blueglass. For me I would intend to have a vacation near a beach because I'm obsessed to the serenity and peacefulness of the blue waters and the beach houses. I love it when I touch the white sands with my own bare hands and see how the bits of sand twinkling in my palms due to the rays of the sun. I love having a skin tan and sleeping on a beach cot while having a skin tan. I don't consider myself a sun worshipper but I love the sun and how it gives the beach a certain excitement. i think beach is too monotonous and don't have much variety! but mountains have so much variety and filled with so many different landscapes! so there's lots more beauty in mountains than in seas. so i prefer the mountains. [junil_jk]

Hello brother; for me it would be a beach, hands down. I love to sun tan, i love to feel the sand in my toes and feel great when my skin is kissed by the sunshine. i would like to venture off to Hawaii for a week. How nice it would be to lay on the beach, maybe snorkel and eat some fantastic Hawaiian foods! Oh, mountain tops are a great place to go for the awe factor. An awesome place to retreat to for inspiration, to dream and plan. Not to mention the often fantastic view. [EvrWonder]
I would prefer beaches on having vacations. The sea breeze soothes my mind and energizes my body. If i just wanna relax all day just looking at the broad blue ocean gives the calmness that we all need. [iceydon]

I think it is more refreshing if I could spend my vacation in the places that I want to go....but I would love to stay in the beach in that kind of places.... I do think that the beach is more refreshing and I could feel the nice smell of the beach. I could see the sunset and beautiful view. I consider myself very lucky because I don't need to go on holiday to see the beach or the mountains, I just have to look out of my windows. i live in a lovely area of Spain and if I look out of the windows round the front I can see mountains and if I look out the back I have a beautiful view of the beaches and coast line.
