My current ranking is "8" at the moment, hoping to improve it in next few days. But i am worried about one thing now, in March probably my exams will begin, i wont log in here for at least 20 days continuously. Will my rating go down if that happens? Do you think they should provide a "Vacation mode" option? so that we can keep our Rank in tact till we come back!

No, your star rating should not go down. If anything, it could go up if people respond to existing discussions and give you '+' ratings. [owlwings]
You should be fine, and your rating should not decrease at all. I moved this last fall, and didn't have internet here at my new house for 2 weeks, so I had no activity for nearly 3 weeks. Everything was just the same as I left it when I returned and I had lots of catch up to do!! I didn't participate enough in Novemeber to get paid, but the little income I did earn rolled over to December and I will get it in the January payment. [princess07031980]
I really don't think your inactivity will result in you losing what you have all ready earned. And I certainly don't think your rating will go down. We are not required to participate a certain number hours per week or respond to a certain amount or responses to keep up our ratings. If that were the case Mylot would clearly state that in the rules. If nothing else your rating may actually go up because people will still continue to respond to your threads even if you are not around to get back to them right away. So hopefully people will rate you positively while you are away! [princess07031980]

I do have the same puzzle as you because I will have my winter vacation in February. there would be about two weeks for me to be outside of mylot. I still don't know how the ranking algorithm works to evaluate the reputation. If the online time is alos an important factor, I think the reputation may go down when I come back after some day's vacation. Wish it would not happen. I do work hard here, I am so excited when i found my reputation is 9. But I have to go home in my vocation because I have not been with my familly for about one year. And it is not easy to login mylot in my hometown. now i am worried about it's going down. Have you had a try to send a mail to mylot team? maybe the admin will give you an answer. I was taking exams a few weeks ago and I tried to post once a day. Is it possible for you to reply to one discussion a day? That should only take 5 minutes and you would still remain active. Or maybe even one day a week you could reply to a discussion. Best of luck on your exams. [jenbatres]
