relativity theory states that if you move with the speed of light then you can travel in future, say you are 15 yrs old and and sit in such a spacecraft which moves 99.5% of that of speed and you travel in space for 5 years with that speed and return to year, you will see all your classmates having 65 age but you are only 20 yrs old

well i think we may travel in future but i don't think we will ever be able to travel in past, for example you travel in past where you see your grandpa n grandmother having a date, if you stop them meeting, then how will your mother and how will you be born? and if you won't be born then how will you travel back?

Not sure if you have it correct but in theory, why your friends aged a lot and you "the space traveler" only aged 5 years is because as you approch the speed of light time slows down but time stayed the same here on earth. Here is something else to think about. How about if you in your space craft left earth and traveled at only 80% light speed, it took you 10 years to reach your destination, then you left there to come back to earth but traveled 99.5% light speed, would you get back befor you left? When you go fast your weight (mass) also incresed very insignificantly. This change in mass and time cannot be noticed with the speeds that we are used to. But when coming close to the speed of light this change is significant. Since at the speed of light you have an infinite mass it is impossible to reach that. I do not agree with what you have read. The speed of light, shall we say, which is the speed of your spacecraft, does not matter at all. Think of this, you have a watch which is synchronize to the watch of your friend. if you travel with the speed of light for five years based on your watch, which is asynchronous to the watch of your friend, then therefore the watch of your friend also travels 5 years. therefore you still come back in the same gap of years with your friend. i think travelling to the future is far more feasible than travelling back to the past. time is linear and non-reversible, if you ask me, so that means you cant go back to the past because it's over and done. travelling to the future is more possible, since there's room to meddle with. that that'd mean you'll be hyperaccelerating your cells or something. or slowing them down. hehe, i'll try to google it too. Anyone or any matter trying to travel at the speed of light will simply disintegrate. So don't worry. However the concept of time slowing down and time wrap, etc., are quite interesting to read. ive read somewhere that it is impossible to be able to travel at the speed of light, but it is possible to travel just below the speed of light. I think it is possible.. Computers, Robots and even Cellphones are just fictious objects in the past. Who knows it might also exist sometime in the future.. I think travelling in the future is good to know and avoid things that happened in the past. But travelling in the past might also do good like warning somebody important that he's gonna be killed..
