many of people prefer to have someone with them to have maximum fun in their vacation or traveling.
many prefer their parents but many prefer their friends as they are more free and have more fun with friends.
so with whom you would like to go for a vacation with your parents or friends.

I have almost always gone with my family for vacations. Being with family, at least once a year for one major holiday is always fun. Though there may be a few disagreements over where to stay? which places to go sightseeing? or simply where to eat?, we always find a way to work things out. I think every discussion gets forgotten in the end when we return home and see the beautiful photographs and treasure the memories of the trip with us for the rest of our lives. [catherine_r]

its for sure that i would like to go with my friends. the reason is that we stay with our families but with friends we stay for a short period that is the time when we are in school. so friends seems to be more interesting than family to me. [mohak27056666]

as to me I choose both.because there are two side,family and friend. they give different fun. one can't intead of the other. I sometimes with my parents on vacation, sometimes with my friends. [shine17]
You missed the third option which is the one I prefer. I like to travel alone. When I travel alone I meet the people who live where I am going and become involved in the culture. If I travel with friends or family I tend to stay with them and remain outside the culture I am visiting. [Chiang_Mai_boy]
If I where to choose, I prefer to go on a vacation with my family because with my family their is no bounderies between you and the group since it is your family you can do whatever you want to do with all the stuff like that,but if it is to your friends of coarse you have to behaved,or if not their is inside in you that is not showing 100% true or being you because they are only your friends and not your family right? I would rather vacation with my family (husband and son) than with my parents. But I also have no problem at all vacation on my own once in a while too. I enjoy getting away and just lose myself in the thrill of just being away from it all. [makingpots]

When I was younger I often went on vacation with my parents, but now I usually go with my boyfriend or some friends instead. I have had some great holidays with my family, and in the past we often visited other European countries. My parents don't travel that much anymore and is has been manby years since we had a family vacation, but I have many good memories from the past. At our age your parents as you don't really understand the dangers out there in the big wild world and you could get drunk and be taken advantage off.Not everyone is nice they may seem nice but they are not and you have not had enough experience of the world yet to be able to tell the difference give it another year and you will have gained enough knowledge.And besides that your parents will probably spoil you more anyway do you work to pay for your holiday,stick with parents I am sure they will let you take a friend if you ask them nicely. Well, there are actually pros and cons. I can honestly go both ways, haha. I love traveling with my parents/family because it's actually nice to experience new places with them. After all that they've done for me, one of the rewards I can give them is this kind of experience. Plus, traveling always leaves us with great memories. On the other hand, I love traveling with friends because it's fun and you can be spontaneous on everything. Also, this experience can give make you closer friends along the way. [icecroft]
I live with my daughter and would enjoy a vacation with here so that I get to show her a lot of new places. I dont think I would enjoy myself with my mother though! [mayka123]
