Would You Work For A Cruise Line Did You Had The Opportunity To Do That

I'm having some discussions with a recruitment company in the field.

Wouldn't be my cup of tea. I don't like the idea of being in the middle of the ocean trapped with a bunch of people I don't know. [missybal]
Hey, you have to see the fun part, traveling and getting paid, kind of like here on myLot only here we're traveling virtually. Thanks for reply. [september_1st]

I just got back from my first cruise... and I think it would be fun to work on a cruise ship. Maybe not forever, but for a little while. There are so many different things to work at. You can see the milky way at night. And what a great way to cut down on your expenses, save money and see the world. [Withoutwings]
You were an passenger or an employee? Indeed, for all that reasons it would be great. Thanks for reply. [september_1st]

I wouldn't mind working for cruise lines. I actually wanted to do that at one point, I never had the opportunity though. Now I'm going to be a teacher. [rmuxagirl]
Good luck with your teaching. Thanks for replying. [september_1st]

You know, if i didn't have my son i might consider it. It would be a break from the norm, something new and different and you can make some good money doing it from what i understand. I wouldn't be able to now though unless i didn't want to see my son that often and that's not an option. [Violette13]
It's understandable, thanks for sharing. [september_1st]

I looked into it when I was younger. The idea sounded like fun. The travel and exotic nature of it. However, the company I looked at felt dishonest somehow. I can't remember why, it was a long time ago, but it just didn't feel right. Now I think I wouldn't like it because I have become a homebody. Also, I'm sure it's very customer service oriented, which is not my thing. Plus, I imagine a bunch of old people in a long buffet line and that REALLY is not my thing. LOL Tell us what you do and good luck! I suppose if you disappear, perhaps you are on the high seas? Or do they have wireless on your cruise? That might change things. :) [TerriStardust]
Thanks for replying, i'll tell you if i have any news... [september_1st]

i've been working for a cruise lines for about 3 years.I got tired from visiting so many places.I am joking, i love to travel and this was my chance to earn some money and see some great places.I have been everywhere except Asia and Moon.I was twice in the caribean islands, South and North America and lotsof the other places, no need to write them here. The point is that with the money that i have earned on the cruise i traveled in places that are not ports, most of them in Europe and middle east. [angelopetrescu]

Yes, I would work for a cruise line. I wish I could, but the opportunity never arose. What will you do, if you accept? [margieanneart]
